Firefighter Helmet Casco PF 1000 Extreme

Firefighter protective helmet type B, CASCO PF 1000 EXTREME complies with the requirements of standard DIN EN 443:2008, while its exceptional quality ensures 3 times longer durability than required by standard EN 443.

The helmet features a large integrated panoramic visor, which can be folded into the helmet with gloves on, allowing an unobstructed view of obstacles such as stairs or ladders regardless of the extension. Made of polycarbonate, it is tested and certified according to standard EN 14458:2004.

3D headband is divided into three zones, providing a secure fit for rounder, narrower, or smaller head shapes. The helmet fits head sizes from 52 to 64 cm. It also includes the CASCO DiskFit™ Vario wheel for continuous head circumference adjustment, which can be adjusted even while wearing gloves. The wheel is safely concealed in the helmet, protected by a magnetic flap. The interior of the helmet is adapted for microphone use.

On the left and right sides of the visor, there are 4 adjustment levels available. The forehead padding allows for 3 adjustment levels, including precise height and width adjustment. The height of the comfortable overhead mesh can be adjusted with a 4-step adjustment at the back, with fine adjustments also possible on the forehead using Velcro. The mesh can be easily removed for cleaning or replacement.

The external shell, made of composite fibres, contains 65% glass content. The 2.5 mm thick shell is extremely fire-resistant and provides resistance to temperatures required by standard EN 443:2008, three times longer than required by the standard. The exterior is coated with a 4-layer application of primer, 2 layers of paint, and a protective coating. Quality 3M reflective stickers are also applied. The extended rear flap channels rain and other water away from the neck and directly onto the clothing.

The polyurethane core dampens vibrations and is protected by a polycarbonate housing. For hygiene reasons and longer-term use, it can be washed. The straps have no edges, are fire-resistant, 3-point, and padded for additional comfort.

The external shell is without any drilled holes, avoiding greater exposure in the housing design, such as water ingress.

All parts of the helmet are mechanically replaceable, as accessories or replacement parts are available.

The price includes a neck protector made of Nomex, which can also be ordered in leather, aluminised, or extended versions.
