INTERVENTION FIREFIGHTING TROUSERS S-GARD HERO ATTACK
TROUSER BRACES
The ADVANCE PROGRESS trousers feature braces made of durable material that are not elastic, ensuring that they will not stretch over time. A special elastic-rubber section in the lumbar area of the trousers provides greater flexibility and allows for normal movement when bending. The adjustment of the braces is similar to adjusting a breathing apparatus, simply by pulling a strap.
MOVE+ SYSTEM
The S-Gard Advance Progress intervention trousers are made of 3 layers – an outer layer, inner lining, and a membrane between the two layers. To ensure maximum comfort for the firefighter's movements, S-Gard has quilted all three layers in the crotch area, allowing exceptional movement for the firefighter even in extreme conditions. This quilting system of all three layers in the crotch area is called the MOVE+ system. In practice, this means that when the firefighter lifts a leg during work, the trousers follow the movement, providing the greatest possible freedom of movement.
PRACTICAL POCKETS
The trousers have dual pockets on both sides, one is a real pocket for storing items, while the other opening is not a pocket but allows access to the inside of the trousers.
The trousers have bellows or real pockets on both sides. A key feature of these two pockets is that their lower edges are not directly sewn onto the outer layer of the trousers but have a gap. This is important because in case the pocket is full, the pocket contents do not press against the inside of the trousers, i.e. the leg, which is particularly important when carrying heavier items in the pockets and trying to run.
TROUSER FASTENING
The trousers fasten at the front with a Velcro closure, as a zipper could cause issues. Additionally, a snap fastener is attached next to the Velcro to further secure the trousers.
REFLECTIVE STRIPS
The trousers, like the jacket, have double-stitched reflective strips.
A choice between regular reflective strips or segmented reflective strips (at no extra cost) for blue trousers, while only segmented strips are available for gold trousers.
INSPECTION OPENINGS
The trousers also feature 2 inspection openings through which the condition of the membrane can be checked from both sides. It is recommended that the firefighter checks the membrane condition after each internal attack to ensure there are no damages. If the membrane is damaged, it must be repaired or replaced for personal safety.
ADDITIONAL TROUSER FEATURES
