Details
The CORSAIR jacket is characterized by many details. It has an adjustable hood that can be removed. The back is ergonomically designed and extended. The material is high-visibility, and the reflective strips are segmented.
Lightweight and breathable protective clothing is required for technical interventions and extinguishing wildfires in nature. Therefore, S-Gard has developed the new multi-standard protective suit CORSAIR. The basis of the suit is stretchable material GORE-TEX Crosstech® PYRAD, which is very lightweight, relatively thin, heat and fire resistant, waterproof, and wind-resistant. Due to its stretch properties, it facilitates movement for the user, while a highly breathable material ensures moisture absorption prevention and dryness during prolonged use. The suit is made of high-visibility material with segmented reflective strips.
The CORSAIR suit provides exceptional protection against hazards. It protects against short-term exposure to fire and flash fires, while ensuring that the user is safe from virus intrusion and other bloodborne pathogens as well as everyday chemicals.
With its lightweight design, it offers exceptional freedom of movement and comfort, as well as four-way stretch. It provides excellent fit and allows for wearing multiple layers of clothing underneath, depending on the weather. The material dries quickly after use or washing.
Repeated washing and decontamination do not affect the quality of the material.
The next generation of clothing for technical intervention:
- GORE-TEX Crosstech® protects the user from diseases and bloodborne pathogens. It is waterproof, wind-resistant, and breathable.
- Pyrad® provides protection against flames and direct fire.
- Stretch allows the user freedom of movement and additional comfort.
MOVE+ 3D SYSTEM
The CORSAIR jacket features MOVE+ 3D construction, offering exceptional ease of movement. The ergonomically designed sleeves are intended for individual adjustment.
S-Gard's technical intervention suit CORSAIR is made of two layers – an outer layer and a membrane. To ensure the firefighter's movement is as comfortable as possible, S-Gard has quilted all layers under the armpits, allowing for exceptional movement even in extreme conditions. This system of quilting all layers of the jacket under the armpits is called the MOVE+ system. In practice, this means that when the firefighter raises their arm during work, the jacket does not lift up as it would if all layers were not quilted, maintaining high coverage in the lumbar area with trousers, which is crucial for extreme external influences on the firefighter (exposure to fire). This allows for maximum freedom of movement.
- 3D COMPONENT or "ACTION DESIGN"
The sleeves of the jacket are pre-shaped, meaning they are designed to anticipate movement (known as "action design"). This means that the sleeves are cut at a slight angle at the elbow fold, resulting in easier bending of the arms and thus easier work when needed the most.
The MOVE+3D system is therefore the next generation of the MOVE+ system, enhanced with the feature of "Action design".
PRACTICAL POCKETS AND HOLDERS
On the chest area, there are two velcro straps for name tags. Below the chest area, the suit has two vertical pockets with covered zippers. The same applies to the side vertical pockets, which also have a carabiner tab. The pocket on the upper arm is intended for carrying a radio station. Microphone holders are located on the left and right front sides above the velcro.
JACKET SLEEVES
A special stretchable material provides easier movement function. An elastic and adjustable cuff ensures adjustability at the wrist area.
