Lightweight and breathable protective clothing is required for technical intervention and firefighting in nature. Therefore, S-Gard has developed a new multi-standard protective suit CORSAIR. The basis of the suit is stretch material GORE-TEX Crosstech® PYRAD, which is very lightweight, relatively thin, heat and fire resistant, waterproof, and wind resistant. Due to its stretch properties, it facilitates movement for the user, while a highly breathable material ensures moisture-wicking and dryness during prolonged use. The suit is made of highly visible material with segmented reflective strips.
The CORSAIR suit provides exceptional protection against hazards. It protects against short-term exposure to fire and flash fires, while ensuring that the user is safe from virus penetration and other bloodborne pathogens as well as everyday chemicals.
Its lightweight design offers exceptional freedom of movement and comfort, along with four-way stretch. It provides excellent fit and allows for wearing multiple layers of clothing underneath, depending on the weather. The material dries quickly after use or washing.
Repeated washing and decontamination do not affect the quality of the material.
The next generation of clothing for technical intervention:
- GORE-TEX Crosstech® protects the user from diseases and bloodborne pathogens. It is waterproof, wind resistant, and breathable.
- Pyrad® provides protection against flames and direct fire.
- Stretch allows the user freedom of movement and additional comfort.
MOVE+ 3D SYSTEM
S-Gard CORSAIR trousers for technical intervention are made of two layers - an outer layer and a membrane. The stitching of both layers in the crotch area is designed for easy and comfortable movement of a firefighter even in extreme conditions. This system is called MOVE+, meaning that the trousers follow the movement even when the firefighter, for example, climbs a ladder. They provide truly maximum possible freedom of movement.
- 3D COMPONENT or "ACTION DESIGN"
The CORSAIR trousers are pre-shaped, meaning they are designed to anticipate movement. The trouser legs are cut at a slight angle at the knee bend, resulting in easier bending of the knees and thus facilitating work.
MOVE+3D system is therefore the next generation of the MOVE+ system, enhanced with the feature of "Action design".
PRACTICAL POCKETS
All pockets feature a covered zipper, the side pockets are positioned vertically, and the thigh pockets have additional volume for storing small pieces of equipment.
TROUSER FASTENING
The trousers are fastened in the first phase with a zipper, followed by a buckle and Velcro. It is also possible to attach a belt.
REFLECTIVE STRIPS
The reflective strips are segmented, providing a softer and more comfortable feel when wearing the suit. They are double-stitched.
ADDITIONAL TROUSER FEATURES
Elastic cuff on the trouser legs is adjustable and has two side zippers for easy boot fitting.
