Details
Only 11 kVA power generators with a fuel tank made of synthetic material installed below the engine.
The cover of the tank is secure from loss - with a thread and ventilation function. It is made of highest quality XPE material - volume approx. 12 litres. It has a fuel level gauge, a built-in three-point tap for extended operation, and an oil drain tap for clean and easy oil change.
Display in a reliable form and quality for:
- insulation monitoring with display and audible alarm
- load display: total or by phases with LED
- voltage display with switch
- switch for changing poles left/right, with mechanical lock
- EMERGENCY STOP sensor with audible alarm
- main switch for electronic ignition
- fuse checking device
- LCD display for fuel level and LED reserve display
- working hours counter
The generator ensures simplicity and clarity with optimally arranged control elements, insulation monitoring with audible alarm via horn according to DIN 14685-1.
It has a service cover on both sides with magnetic closure and safety covers with warning pictograms.
The exhaust muffler made of alloy steel operates extremely quietly. Possible fuel supply from a canister through built-in three-point tap and fuel kit for extended operation.
DIN exhaust system with spark arrestor for your safety and possibility of connecting an exhaust pipe. Service cover with absorbent pad opens without tools for best access during engine services
Engine and generator are separated by aluminium sheet and a special fibreglass pad.
Roll-over valve in the tank made of synthetic materials, adopted from the automotive industry for best ventilation and highest safety.
Easy access to fuses, which trip in case of thermal and electrical shocks.
The battery requires no maintenance.
Handle grips are made of aluminium alloy for maximum stability. Foldable and non-slip carrying handles that keep your hands warm in cold weather and enable ergonomically correct carrying position, air vent in the cover prevents overheating.
Tool bag is included as standard.
Frames, control panels, service and protective covers can be selected from the RAL colour palette (optional).

Thermal Safety:
Firefighting power generators boast extremely high performance in small dimensions. The measurements are determined in DIN 14685-1. Consequently, high thermal loads, even when installed in firefighting vehicles, are structurally resolved by the manufacturer. Mag Motorn power generators are designed for continuous operation, therefore they exclusively use components that meet industrial requirements.
Electrical Safety:
DIN 14685-1 also specifies electrical requirements for power generators and related electrical safety. Power generators are produced with the safety measure of "Potential Equalization Separation" as standard. In addition, all power generators are equipped with insulation monitoring, which together with the previous measure forms an additional safety element.
Some technical terms in the field of power generators:
Low consumers:
These are consumers that draw the same current at startup as during operation (light bulbs, hot plates, heating elements, ...)
Inductive consumers:
These are consumers that can draw up to 8 times the power at startup compared to the power stated for operation. These include various electric motors (single-phase or three-phase). This must be taken into account when selecting the power of the power generator.
Power:
The stated power (apparent power) in power generators is denoted by VA (voltampere).
Power factor (cos phi):
This is obtained from the ratio of apparent power to working power, usually used for three-phase current consumers. An acceptable value is 0.8. Multiplying the power of the power generator (indicated in VA) by this factor gives the working power of the generator (indicated in W - Watt).
Working power:
Measured in Watts. The power stated by the manufacturer can be easily taken over when operating low consumers. For inductive consumers, the power factor must be considered.
Synchronous generators:
MAG Motorn exclusively uses synchronous generators suitable for all users. Generators can be cooled internally (IP 23 mode) or externally (IP 54 mode). Those used in outdoor environments must comply with the IP 54 mode.
Mag Motorn firefighting power generators meet the IP 54 requirements.
