Details
The generator provides simplicity and clarity with optimally arranged control elements, isolation control is with audible alert via a horn according to DIN 14685-1.
It has service covers on both sides with magnetic closure and safety covers with warning pictograms.
The exhaust silencer made of alloy steel operates extremely quietly. Fuel can be supplied from a canister via factory-installed three-point fuel tap and fuel kit for extended operation.
DIN exhaust system with spark arrestor for your safety and possibility to connect exhaust pipe.
Foldable and non-slip carrying handles that keep your hands warm in the cold and allow for an ergonomically correct carrying position.
All at a glance:
- Load and voltage display with backlight
- Voltage is regulated via a toggle switch,
- LED warning for overload
Display of working hours and fuel level is enabled – when low on fuel, a red LED blinks.
Frames, control panels, service and protective covers can be selected from the RAL colour palette (option).

Thermal Safety:
Firefighting power generators boast extremely high performance in small dimensions. The measurements are determined in DIN 14685-1. Consequently, high thermal loads, even within the installation in firefighting vehicles, are structurally solved by the manufacturer. Mag Motorn power generators are designed for continuous operation, therefore they exclusively use components that meet industrial requirements.
Electrical Safety:
DIN 14685-1 also specifies electrical requirements for power generators and related electrical safety. Power generators are serially produced with the safety measure of "Potential Equalization Separation." Additionally, all power generators are equipped with insulation monitoring, which together with the previous measure forms an additional safety element.
Some technical terms from the field of power generators:
Low consumers:
These are consumers that consume the same current at startup as during operation (bulbs, hotplates, heating elements, ...)
Inductive consumers:
These are consumers that can consume up to 8 times the power at startup compared to the specified operating power. These include various electric motors (single-phase or three-phase). This must be taken into account when choosing the power of the power generator.
Power:
The specified power (apparent power) in power generators is denoted in VA (voltampere).
cos phi; power factor:
This is obtained from the ratio of apparent and working power, usually used for three-phase current consumers. The acceptable value is 0.8. If the power of the power generator (indicated in VA) is multiplied by this factor, we get the working power of the generator (indicated in W - Watt).
Working power:
It is measured in watts. The power provided by the manufacturer can be easily adopted when operating low consumers. For inductive consumers, the power factor must be taken into account.
Synchronous generators:
MAG Motorn exclusively uses synchronous generators suitable for all users. Generators can be cooled internally (IP 23 mode) or externally (IP 54 mode). Those used in outdoor environments must comply with the IP 54 mode.
Mag Motorn firefighting power generators meet the IP 54 requirements.
